Happiness

A friend of mine asked me to write a story within 100 words  based on the picture he had taken and this is what I wrote :)

“Honey, shall I buy this happiness?”, She asked excitedly.

He smiled, “It’s not happiness. And even if it is, it’s momentary.”

“I don’t mind”, she nagged

“You don’t mind now, but later, that pinch of sadness will burst all the happiness out of it.”, he replied.

She got curious. “Sadness, what type of sadness?”

He replied, “Sadness, the fact that we lost our only child four months ago .The one you are buying that for” and left.
